Spilt Milk Studios is celebrating the 1.0 launch of its chaotic clean-up game Trash Goblin, with a charity event that turns gameplay into real-world impact. The Trash Goblin 5K Charity Challenge kicks off when the game launches on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM BST on Steam – and for the first 24 hours, the studio is donating $1 for every minute of the game streamed or uploaded on Twitch and YouTube, up to a total of $5,000.
How It Works
- For every minute of Trash Goblin streamed or recorded between May 28 at 5:00 PM BST and May 29 at 5:00 PM BST, $1 will be donated to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
- The goal is to hit a total of 84 hours of content in 24 hours—that’s how to unlock the full $5,000 donation.
- The campaign kicks off with a livestream by VTuber superstar Ironmouse.

About Trash Goblin
Trash Goblin is a wholesome, cosy shopkeeping game with no time pressure! Uncover and clean trinkets, then upcycle them to sell to an endless supply of colourful and quirky customers. Spend your savings to upgrade your shop, buy better tools, plus expand and customise your space.
The game has been in Early Access since November 6th, 2024, and has been blessed with raving reviews and a wonderful community.
I did actually do an interview with one of the developers a while ago, so check that out if you’d like to hear more about the game!
We’ll also be live tomorrow btw over on my channel if you wanna stop by and hang out as we dig up, clean up and sell various trinkets. I’ve been playing the game a fair bit over the course of its Early Access period, and I’m so thrilled to finally check out the 1.0 version!
