Listen up, friends! Bloggers, Streamers, and Content Creators! YouTubers, Podcasters, Artists, and other Entertainers! I want to announce that I’m hosting this month’s JCS and am hence now collecting posts from October to showcase at the end of this month.
For anyone that doesn’t know the JCS aka “Jon’s Creator Showcase” is an event where different people showcase content creators… duh! It’s a “fun way for people to share and discover”, as Jon Spencer himself says over here. It’s something that Jon started back in January 2018 and which ran for only one month where he highlighted creations from December 2017. Over time, other people took it upon themselves to try and revive the project and long story short: I volunteered to host November’s JCS, meaning that I’ll collect, read and write about all sorts of creations from written to filmed to recorded to streamed stuff and the list goes on. If you’ve created anything in October that you’d like to offer to submit, do so now… or in the next few days, weeks, etc. I’ll essentially then write a post about it featuring each and every creator in no particular order so that my readers and potentially other people can see all of these creators and their creations. It’s about inspiring growth and exploration while also bringing together the community as a whole and I’m really excited about all of this. Naturally, I’ll tag every creator as well in that post of mine, so it’s gonna be quite easy for everyone to check out and potentially follow each and every other creator on the list!
How do you participate, you may ask, and it’s relatively easy: Reply to the tweet here with your favourite creation from last month aka October 2021 and make sure to tag it with #theJCS. Once you’ve done that, your creation is submitted and it’d be great if you could tag at least three people to also participate in the showcase – and those could also do it… If you don’t want to tag people, that’s fine by the way. If you want to tag more, that’s fine as well. Retweeting it or sharing it or just telling people about it would also be great so that all your favourite content creators could learn about all the other participants while also sharing stuff.
So, basically, this is one big collab of sorts and I’d love it if we could get at least a few people to participate as well. I love what Jon’s doing and I’d love it if we could find more people to participate as well. Let’s bring the community together a little bit.
Cheers!

Woo! I’m excited to see how you’ll tackle hosting and be here if you need any support :) Thanks for taking up the mantle for this month too.

I’m really excited to be fair! I’ll have to stay on the ball with the categorising and bookmarking and stuff though! Hopefully we get lots of participants! :)
