Wherever you are, I hope you know that you’re loved and appreciated. I today wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! I know the situation is still difficult with you-know-what and lots of idiots in the world but… I hope that you get to rest up and enjoy your time, at least for a little bit. I hope that you get to have fun and that you get to see your friends, your relatives or your chosen family. I truly wish that you can have a somewhat normal Christmas (or any other holiday – I mean, I don’t celebrate Christmas but y’know…) and that you can celebrate safely and enjoy yourselves. It’s important to take a break at times, especially considering that Christmas can be a rather lonely holiday. As other people spend their time with loved ones and their close ones, some people can feel alienated, lonely, or anxious. Make sure to take care of yourself and talk to people if you feel lonely or if you need someone to listen to you. And obviously, if you’re in a good place watch out for other people. See who may need an ear, a shoulder or a hand. Sometimes the brightest people are in the darkest places and you don’t notice it until it’s too late, so if you ever feel left alone… know that I’m here and you can reach out to me on Discord or Twitter and I’ll try to be there. There are also Mental Health resources here if you need them. Some of these helped me get through some very dark phases and it’s important to make that extra step even if it sounds a bit “silly” or even if it’s tough to reach out or do it. I’d miss you if you weren’t here anymore.
Your feelings are valid. You’re heard. I’m here for ya even if it’s just in spirit. You’re loved. You’re valid. You got this! I believe in you. You can make it. Stay strong. Stay safe.
