New Semester, New Schedule!

The new semester started and because my classes are all over the place, I figured I’d try out new things this time around – while focusing on my studies for a lot of the time.

Streaming has been a big hobby of mine that I enjoy a lot. I wanna continue to do it but my university classes will take priority, of course. This semester will be a bit of a rough one given the number of classes I have – and consequently, the number of exams that I’ll need to pass… but I think I’ll be able to do it?

Hence, I decided to limit myself to streaming at most four days a week, maybe even just three, with one of these streams being a bit more of a chill “let’s study/work together” kind of stream. I’ve been thinking about that for a while and figured it’d be quite a lot of fun to potentially work together, chat in the breaks, and just vibe to some good music while everyone gets their work and studies done?

In reality, that means that my schedule looks as follows:
Tuesdays: 2 PM until 5 PM
Wednesdays: 12 PM until 4 PM
Thursdays: 7 AM until 11 AM
Fridays: 12 PM until 4 PM

All of these times are in CEST (Central European Summer Time)/UTC+2 and they’re all subject to change. Depending on the workload of my classes, I may stream less long or on fewer days. Similarly, I want to treat streams as my sort of “reward” for doing things well or keeping up with my studies. If I fall behind, I want to catch up with classes first and then stream later, possibly. Just the general idea there. As for the times, they’re quite weird – I know – but it’s really just a matter of “when am I home?” and “when do I need to leave my home again?”. On Thursdays, for example, I want to try out morning streams just to see how it goes. I’ll be able to shower, eat breakfast, and get coffee before the stream, then go on for a while and around 11 AM, I’d have to end so that I could prepare to go to university. Most of my classes there are in the afternoon to early evening, meaning that the morning is kind of what I have. If I were to drop a stream, it would probably be that one… but I’d still like to try it out.

Meanwhile, Tuesday streams could work out well, even if they’re shorter. Maybe we could do the study session on that day and use Fridays and Wednesdays for gaming?

My point is that the new semester brings change with it, which is fine in itself. I just want to focus more on university and maybe try myself at some new things with streaming in the process. Instead of having fixed days for certain games, I wanna hop around and try out things that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Instead of doing a few long streams, I’d rather want to have an actual schedule and then do a fixed time for those streams. If I’m behind on my studies, I’ll postpone the stream until I’m done. There probably will be some issues with all of that at some point but frankly, I wanna be more consistent and more flexible in general this time around.
