Ko-fi or something?

So, talking about finances is a bit odd and I hence wanted to kinda write a post about the topic of monetisation/keeping the blog ad-free.

Finances are a little rough for me at times and to keep the domain and the blog ad-free, I essentially needed to get the “personal plan” on WordPress. Even when there were ads on the blog, I didn’t earn anything from them… So, I had to essentially get rid of them.

This, however, means that I essentially run the blog out of my own pocket… and that pocket is a little small given that I’m a student.

Anyhow, I was thinking of maybe setting up a “Ko-fi” page. In fact, at some point in the past, I apparently did already set up a page that can be found over here! But I have no clue what to do with it.

I’d feel iffy about receiving money without offering something in return which is why I wanted to maybe create some sort of incentive. I’m not entirely sure though what I could offer.

Either way, the Ko-fi Page exists and it would be great if I could get some ideas to add to the page.

I could probably post “Behind the Scenes” looks or whatever on that page and maybe share insights about my process of writing about stuff and things and games and whatnot.

If you’re interested in that sort of stuff, let me know!

And well, if you wanna support the blog and if you have a few bucks to spare, the page exists. I still have a kidney to spare, so you can have that, too, if you want to.

Jokes aside, I’m always open to suggestions and feedback!
