Indietail – Cryptmaster

Cryptmaster is a charming first-person dungeon crawler with typing-based combat and witty humor which truly shines through its lore, diverse quests, and clever interactions!

Indietail – Mediterranea Inferno

Mediterranea Inferno is a visually stunning and intense visual novel, delving into post-covid trauma, anxiety, and youth. The story follows three young queer men navigating their struggles, temptations, and disillusionment during a reunion in Italy. The game presents bold, challenging themes and offers a deeply immersive experience, though it may not be suitable for everyone.

Indietail – Goblin Stone

A beautiful and highly complex tactical roguelike-adventure with base-building, endearing goblins and pesky menfolk!

Indietail – Scorn

Scorn is an incredibly unique, gross and uncomfortable piece of art whose story isn't told at all... it's experienced first-hand by the player with no hand-holding at all.

Endless Dungeon may just be my personal Game of the Year! (Review)

This review is on my personal favourite game this year, Endless Dungeon, the spiritual successor to one of my all-time favourite roguelikes, Dungeon of the Endless!

Indietail – My Little Universe

My Little Universe may not be my cup of tea but I could see kids enjoying this a lot. It's very well-designed for a young audience, in my opinion.

Indietail – Rebel Inc: Escalation

Rebel Inc tries to do a lot of things... but none of them well. It's a glorified whack-a-mole simulator that pretends to be deep... but it's just so darn one-dimensional.

Indietail – Wandering Sword

By creating an HD2D game set in the Wuxia world, The Swordsman Studio manages to create a unique and innovative experience with their new game Wandering Sword. Read more here!

Indietail – Patch Quest

Patch Quest is incredibly cute and cuddly but don't let the game fool you as it's still a difficult and fun roguelike adventure game!

Indietail – Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is possibly one of my new favourite roguelikes. I absolutely love it! Here's my full review!

So, I talked to the Peglin developers – Peglin Revisited

Peglin has received a lot of updates since I last took a look at it and thus, I wanted to write again about it, showcasing some changes and talking about what I heard from the devs.

Indietail – Nova Lands

Nova Lands is the lovechild of Factorio and Forager - but it doesn't simply copy and paste but rather innovates and feels like a relaxed entry into that Factorio-esque playstyle.

Indietail – He Fucked The Girl Out Of Me

He Fucked The Girl Out Of Me is a game that depicts trauma in a way that I found relatable even though I haven't been through the same experiences as the author. It's a raw playthrough, though, so beware!

Indietail – Demon Lord Reincarnation

Venture deep into a dungeon, map it out manually, and fight off against evil monsters in this new first-person dungeon crawler that I really wanna like... but...

Indietail – Landnama

Landnama is a non-violent Roguelite Colony Sim that is easy to pick up and hard to stop playing!

Indietail – Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine

As a big fan of Meatboy and the Puyo Puyo games... I was excited about this hybrid both but does it hold up to the hype of both worlds? See here!

Indietail – Behind The Frame: The Finest Scenery

Behind The Frame lets you sip on coffee on sunny days as you sketch cats and procrastinate while trying to figure out some underlying mysteries!

OTXO is just fast-paced adrenaline-pumping roguelike-shooter goodness! (Review)

When it comes to top-down shooters, no game is more iconic than Hotline Miami. The fast-paced combat with the frequent checkpoints and the way you have to improvise on the spot to make do with whatever weapons enemies drop makes for a great gameplay loop and plenty of surprises for looking for a good time.... Revita is a challenging yet accessible Roguelike! (Review)

Revita is a beautiful, challenging and yet rewarding roguelike-shooter that has you climb a tower to recover your lost memories!

Golden Light is horrible but in a great way! (Review)

Eat your weapons. Carve a way out of the gut. Free her. Avoid combat. Do combat. Whatever it takes. Get out of the Gut.

Indietail – PERISH

PERISH is varied, highly repeatable and just a ton of fun, especially when you lob off demon heads and have enemies fatally slip on a puddle!

I tried out the Thursday App (Review)

Despite being heavily promoted in Germany, Thursday doesn't work here and just sort of sucks overall.

Dive into a corrupted city, create a strong build consisting of many spells, and free this place from what lingers below in Lone Ruin!

Indietail – Beacon Pines

Beacon Pines is amazing and you need to play it. Here's why!

Indietail – Necrobouncer

Necrobouncer is an action-roguelike that is easy to get into but hard to master!

Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse is great and all but have you ever tried curing Zombies and turning them back into humans?

Indietail – Fangs

Today we're checking out Fangs, a new MOBA attempting to lower the hurdle for new players - but does it succeed?

Indietail – Dwarven Skykeep
