This review is on my personal favourite game this year, Endless Dungeon, the spiritual successor to one of my all-time favourite roguelikes, Dungeon of the Endless!
Indietail – My Little Universe
My Little Universe may not be my cup of tea but I could see kids enjoying this a lot. It's very well-designed for a young audience, in my opinion.
Indietail – Rebel Inc: Escalation
Rebel Inc tries to do a lot of things... but none of them well. It's a glorified whack-a-mole simulator that pretends to be deep... but it's just so darn one-dimensional.
Indietail – Wandering Sword
By creating an HD2D game set in the Wuxia world, The Swordsman Studio manages to create a unique and innovative experience with their new game Wandering Sword. Read more here!
Indietail – Landnama
Landnama is a non-violent Roguelite Colony Sim that is easy to pick up and hard to stop playing!
Indietail – Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine
As a big fan of Meatboy and the Puyo Puyo games... I was excited about this hybrid both but does it hold up to the hype of both worlds? See here!
Golden Light is horrible but in a great way! (Review)
Eat your weapons. Carve a way out of the gut. Free her. Avoid combat. Do combat. Whatever it takes. Get out of the Gut.
Indietail – PERISH
PERISH is varied, highly repeatable and just a ton of fun, especially when you lob off demon heads and have enemies fatally slip on a puddle!
Adore got a lot of updates, not all for the better…
After revisiting Adore for the first time in quite a bit, I was quite disappointed.
My Goals for Blaugust 2022
Blaugust isn't too far away, so let's talk about goals and limit-testing!
Per Aspera – Revisited!
Since my review back in 2020, I revisited Per Aspera a few times to see if the issues I had originally have been addressed. Today, I wanted to talk about why I now recommend teh game!
Indietail – Heartless Dark
Heartless Dark is a roguelike title inspired by Nuclear Throne and Resident Evil that immerses you in darkness and slow tactical gameplay!
Indietail – My Lovely Daughter
My Lovely Daughter comments on heavier topics but it's also able to enage you with its twisted style and its Alchemy/Management/Simulation formula. Read more here in today's review!
Indietail – Superliminal
Today, we check out a game that is all about perspective and reality! Superliminal is great as an idea but sadly struggles on the technical side of things but more on that here!
Indietail – Carto
Carto is an adorable hand-drawn Puzzle-Adventure where you shape the world to create a path that reunites you with your grandmother! Here's my review!
Indietail – Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder
Today we're checking out Despot's Game by the people behind Despotism 3k! - an auto-battler that combines army management with roguelike mechanics and lots of humour!
Indietail – Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye
Today, I finally talk about my thoughts on Outer Wilds' DLC - without Spoilers! Or at least as little as possible!
Indietail – Graveyard Keeper
Raise the dead or bury them whole, research technologies to find your way home, and grind away at lots and lots of tech gates - Yeah, Graveyard Keeper is a ton of fun actually!
Indietail – Among The Sleep
After awakening in the middle of the night, an infant embarks on a dark and eery adventure in search of their mother. Will you play this horror game on Halloween?
Indietail – Eastward
Eastward is a beautiful homage to the RPG greats and is able to deliver what exactly makes those games great while also adding innovations! Here's my full review!
Indietail – Serin Fate
Are you ready for Witchery, Monster Taming, Necromancy, and... fishing? Serin Fate combines Farming Sims with hardcore combat and does so in a magical way! Here's my review!
Indietail – Fire Punch
Fire Punch is about a man engulfed in flames who wants to take revenge before he dies... Here's my review!
Indietail – Freeways
I'm five years late with this review but Freeways is quite a lot of fun actually!
Indietail – OPUS: Echo of Starsong
OPUS: Echo of Starsong is possibly one of the best releases that came out so far this year! Check out my review here!
Indietail – Lamentum
For today's review, we're checking out Lamentum, a Lovecraftian Survival Horror game set in the mid-19th century New England!
Indietail – HUMANKIND
Today's review is on a title that lets you write history by creating your own civilisation and guiding it through the ages! Today, I'm checking out HUMANKIND!
Indietail – Clan O’Conall
For today's review, I'm taking a look at a cool Celtic-inspired Action-Platformer called Clan O'Conall!
Indietail – Goose Goose Duck
Today we're checking out a game called Goose Goose Duck that is basically "Among Us but with Ducks".
Indietail – Kingdoms and Castles
Today we're checking out Kingdoms and Castles, a medieval city builder/colony sim that reminds me of a Pixel-Banished!
Indietail – Death’s Door
Today's review covers Death's Door, an Action Adventure game where you reap the souls of those that should've died long ago! Here are my thoughts!
