This post was prompted by a discussion we had on the Blaugust discord about prompts and the lack thereof… and well,… sometimes, you gotta remove the limiters!
Technically, “Indiecator” is about Indie Games.
But I started the blog in July of 2019. I participated in Blaugust of 2019 as well… and relatively quickly, I noticed that I couldn’t possibly write 31 posts in 31 days if I were to just stick to game reviews.
Technically, this blog is about reviews. I love writing reviews.
But this blog isn’t just about reviews anymore. It’s my blog. My personal thing. And that’s kinda what I wanna touch upon. Frankly, when you write posts on a blog, it’s your blog. You can write about anything you want and that’s totally fine.
If you write about MMOs a lot, you can talk about other topics, too. Simply start a new category.
If you write about Books a lot, simply start a new category for short stories, poems, light novels, etc.
You can branch out in any way you want or you can start a new blog entirely but in the end: Whatever you decide to do, it’s valid.
You’re valid.
Your blog. Your rules.
