The Stray Sheep: Blogging – A few weeks into my semester

I honestly have no time to do anything at the moment but I’m sorta managing

Currently, I’ve been posting daily 684 days in a row and it sort of worked out, I guess?

Honestly, the new semester is rough. I have way too many classes. I also wanted to still continue streaming and blogging at the same time but I’m not exactly sure if I’ll be able to once the exam season starts.

It’s a matter of time, as always, and how much time I’m willing to sacrifice for specific hobbies.

Currently, I’m doing alright. Doctor’s appointments have to be after university.

I make those reluctantly. Every hour of university classes that I miss out on requires double the time of preparation and catching up, essentially, after all…

There’s still this whole “turning blind” issue I’ve been dealing with and I’m not exactly sure how to deal with it. I mean, when I face it, I go to my GP or I call an ambulance but they haven’t been able to find anything just yet. According to a friend, it could be “micro clots”. Not exactly sure if that’s treatable but I’ll have to ask my GP or Internal Specialist if they can run some tests and figure that out.

Either way, University… not sure. I’m struggling to keep up with some classes but I’m looking forward to studying together with some other people in my classes. Hopefully, they can answer my questions on semantics. My lecturers don’t really have the time to answer my mails, after all.

It’s weird.

But blogging… it’s going well. I’ve got to add the finishing touches to a review scheduled to release tomorrow. At the same time, prompts just sort of “happen”.

They just happen.

I mean, I don’t really wanna write about eating chicken organs but yesterday’s post happened to be about that. I guess blogging is a lot more “free” in that regard.

Currently, I’m hosting a party for people in my dorm. Amidst all the chaos, I remembered that I haven’t written a post yet for today… so… I retreated to my desk and figured I might as well somewhat drunkenly write a post about whatever comes to mind… and in this case, I figured a post on daily blogging is more than interesting. It’d be nice to give an update on this, right?

So, blogging is going well but there are times when I just feel exhausted because university obviously takes priority… Despite that, I still feel obliged to write a post. It’s a streak, after all. The challenge is about keeping it up…

But blogging helps me. It’s not a chore. If at the end of the day, I still am not done with my to-do list… I still have the energy for writing a post.

I mean, writing is what keeps me mentally stable. I feel accomplished by writing posts… I can sleep better after publishing/scheduling a post.

So at the moment, I’m having fun. Still at the party and stuff… but at the moment, I’m having fun writing.

And I’ll probably continue writing daily blog posts until exam season. I may stop writing daily posts once exam season hits. I got a few, after all… I’ll manage somehow. For now, it still works.
