So, it’s the new year, eh? Well,… 2022 went by fast.
2023 will be a challenge… like every year… but I hope that everyone out there (and me!) can face those challenges head-on and overcome them. There will be hurdles along the way and temptations. There will be problems. There will be good times and bad times.
But regardless of what is to come, you can do it! I believe in you! And I’m looking forward to writing about my experiences on here and I’m looking forward to reading about your experiences over there!
Life’s a struggle but at the end of the day, it can only get better after a certain point, right?
If it gets too hard, remember that there are numbers to call and resources to check out over here. I’d miss you if you weren’t here and I can assure you that there are many more who’D be sad if you were gone. Much love!
Have a good one.
Okay, maybe I’ll write a bit more. Uhm… this time around, I really hope there aren’t too many fireworks. They’re really bad for the environment on top of being incredibly loud and bright. I get headaches from them… not to mention the fact that there’s way too much pollution from their remains being left out and about, possibly even causing wildfires and fires overall… There are also way too many idiots out there in the world who really shouldn’t be let anywhere near fireworks. Like, seriously. You know how busy hospitals get this time of the year? Very busy!
This post was written in advance. Right now, I’m most likely calling my partner to wish her a happy new year. This time around, I’m celebrating with my family while she’s with hers. Right now, I’ll most likely think that I miss her but I’ll also remember that I’ll see her by the end of January or mid-February, depending on how exams go. So, not that far away.
I’ll also go for a walk. There will have been plenty of great food and cake and whatnot at my uncle’s. I’ll have drunk lots of cola or whatever with my family and spent lots of time playing chess with my father and my aunt’s husband (many different people!) – and after all of that, a walk seems nice.
In maybe one or two hours, we’ll probably head home by car. My parents, my brother and I won’t stay the night, so we’ll go home and sleep in our own beds, hopefully enjoying some good rest and sweet dreams, heading into the new year.
