So, I’m struggling financially and hence wanted to open up art commissions again for anyone that wants any stuff made for their Twitch channel or other projects.

The reason for this is that I am very low on funds at the moment.
Apart from the usual expenses like rent and other bills, I also had to pay tuition, leaving me with a lot less money than I would originally have wanted to have. It’s only the beginning of the month, too, so I’m quite literally a starving artist, haha.
I also tutor children in Math, German and English but they are on vacation right now, so I lost that income.
Thus, art commissions.
Note: If you do want to support me in this way, please make sure that you’re able to take care of yourself first!
I’ll post the details later. If you wanna just tip money, here’s my kofi by the way, in case you don’t want art in return. But like, I’ve got some of my drawings down below, too. Maybe there’s something you want with your own OC.
(Image on the right was a colouring job I did for a competition. Post over here. The line art was already made by the Beacon Pines’ dev’s artist and I merely did the colouring, shading and the background. I’m very fond of my work on this one and the background in particular.)
Examples/Portfolio

That said, art commissions. Right.
I’ve been drawing on a tablet in Krita since 2020 and I love doing it. I’ve previously worked on a few people’s commissions, including a cat for a Twitch streamer (and friend) named Rakai as well as a full set of emotes for another streamer named Margin (you can see one of the emotes made for him over here on the right).

On top of that, I’ve done a few art commissions for other people for charity, including this little piece here on the left for a lovely viewer of mine who donated to TransLife during our charity fundraiser in May – and they’ve been quite happy with the result.
I love doing character art like this and as you can see I’ve been working on my shading skills as well over time, using hard shading in this case and soft shading in the emote up there. It really depends on the dimensions, too.

For Twitch emotes, you kinda have to exaggerate a lot of features, so the shadows also have to be tackled differently.
Somewhat recently, I’ve also drawn up this moth lady over here. I’m not good with hands, as you can see but I’ve been improving in terms of my style and that sorta thing.
And also, I made all of my own emotes and also rigged my own model on Twitch, although I won’t be able to rig anything for other people due to the amount of work it takes and the lack of time I’m facing at the moment.
Pricing and other details
So, I’m open to taking on commissions for Twitch emotes, and character art in my style here, as well as other requests such as panels, headers, etc.

For Twitch emotes, I’d demand 10€ per emote due to the amount of time and work that goes into them. For comparison, most other artists out there demand 20-30 bucks per emote with deals when it comes to bundles.
There are also many “artists” on itch.io that will have cheaper rates but they either use AI to generate emote art or they steal. I’ve seen a lot of them selling emotes that were stolen from people like Vicksy, for instance, who has to take down those emotes using DMCAs multiple time per year.
For full character art, we’d have to discuss the details, the size, etc. and I’d then give you an offer based on the request, plus whatever you find appropriate as a tip. That’s the way I worked with a friend in the past who paid me a set amount and then tipped based on what he thought was appropriate.
Contact Information
If you want to commission me, you can do so either by e-mail or on Discord via my username “magiwastaken”. Alternatively, I also have this post here on Gamepad.Club and you should be able to directly message me over there as well.
I’d love to create some artwork for people in return for just enough to survive the month.
Also, if you don’t need art yourself but know someone that needs it, I’d love it if you could forward this post to them.
