I hate washing dishes.
We don’t have a dishwasher here, after all, so… sometimes… I just don’t feel like doing them.
And then they pile up.
And then it’s harder to do them because it’s more work because some of the stains just don’t get cleaned that easily…
And then my flatmate gets angry because he has no forks to eat his food with.
You get the idea.
Anyway, today, I did them all… and I set a timer for it that hits me up in the evening… and from now on, I essentially plan on having it there as a reminder.
It really is just that. A reminder. But I plan on holding myself accountable to the promises I made to my flatmate… I’d feel bad for him if he had to put up with my “not washing dishes” shenanigans for any longer, really.
So, uh, that’s really it. I don’t know why I hate doing dishes so much.
It’s an annoying task but just a matter of seconds, really, so why not do it immediately. When I take my time and procrastinate and don’t do them until later, I’ll regret it later.
Honestly, it’s a drag.
If the answer to that question was that easy (“Just do them early!”), I wouldn’t have dishes piling up until I regret letting them pile up…
Uh, anyway, starting from today, I’ll do them frequently. Frequent small loads > one big load, basically.
Apart from that, I’ve also been eating healthily, getting up early, and I’ve been using med timers and stuff. Good stuff. Life’s going well. University is a bit much work at the moment but I’m trying out things to see if I can make it work better…?
I’ll give an update on that at some point.
I’ll also try to put out reviews more frequently from now on. Finding times to play games has been a bit hard, though, as of late… so… be patient. Thanks!
