Returning to Twitch, eh?

I’m incredibly happy to announce that my internet connection at home should work… starting on Wednesday! Huzzah!

I got to terminate my old contract, work things out with my new contract, and I’m still incredibly sleep-deprived. Life is going well – if only exam season wasn’t coming closer.

But I digress. This isn’t a post where I talk about that stuff… rather, I wanted to announce that I’ll soon be able to stream again. How soon? Well,…

January 20th, starting at Midnight (in Central Europe time), I’ll be live for 24 hours, streaming a bunch of different games, doing a bunch of chatting, hosting a few giveaways and even doing the unthinkable of trying to not fall asleep. Honestly, that will be the hardest part.

I haven’t streamed since September, so I’m quite scared that everyone will have forgotten about me… but hey, if anything, starting anew is an opportunity to make grand changes and… honestly, there won’t be too many changes.

I want to add more structure to my streams by planning ahead more and adding this monologue thing at the beginning of the stream but sadly, I didn’t really make much progress there.

All that being said, this Saturday, I’ll play a bunch of the games I’ve played when I first started streaming, as well as their spiritual successors or direct sequels… and other stuff!

We’ll probably start by chatting a bunch before eventually moving on to playing Dungeon of the Endless and Risk of Rain 1 – perhaps I’ll even unlock the final achievement that I need in RoR1, after all these years of really not feeling like it…

Then, we will move on to other titles I’ve played over the years, starting with Risk of Rain 2 but moving on with the ROGUE ROULETTE which essentially will go through my 244 “games that are like rogue” and spin for a random entry that we’ll play for a good while.

But I also plan on doing some community shenanigans with Deep Rock Galactic, watching clips, and giving away games and stuff.

Afterwards, we will then play Endless Dungeon which I sadly didn’t download onto my computer before the move, hence resulting in me not amassing enough playtime in there quite yet…

And since that’s the spiritual successor to Dungeon of the Endless, I also wanted to round things out with Risk of Rain Returns which is a game that I’ve purchased already but I couldn’t play it just yet… and I can’t wait to gather my first impressions together with my community on there, as well as play it together with friends!

Depending on how I feel (because of how taxing 24-hour-streams can be), plans may of course differ… After all, PalWorld is releasing this Friday, and I have been really excited for that, too… so I may get distracted and accidentally start up that game. Oh no. Anyway.

I’m really excited to be back and I figured this would be a pretty cool way to celebrate my 4-Year-Stream-Anniversary as well as my grand return to Twitch.

Aside from that, I’ve heard through the oyster that a certain Ritual Helper (that is definitely not my bot account) may actually start up a stream to test things and to see if my internet connection is actually enough to stream. Don’t ask questions. Just expect a stream on there, perhaps, if you wanna see some shenanigans.

All that said, my first stream in ages will be on Saturday, obviously, and I’m a bit worried that my internet connection won’t be enough… but let’s hope for the best! Huzzah!
