I Started A VTuber Interview Series – TheVTubingRadio (First Episode with VTubing Explained)

I recently started working on a new project called TheVTubingRadio, a series focused on conversations with people in and around the VTubing space.

As someone who enjoys the communities built and the content created by VTubers, I wanted to highlight voices in the scene. The space can seem pretty toxic at times, so maybe this helps with showing off neat creators!

The series will feature VTubers, artists, riggers, VTubing-adjacent creators, as well as folks from the industry, so that viewers not only get to hear about cool creators but also get a peek behind the curtain.

For the first episode, I talked to VTubingExplained, a YouTuber who talks a lot about the space. Initially, Anthony or VE just started out making short “explainers” about various VTuber quotes and the like, but nowadays he’s probably mostly known for summarising and explaining drama in the space.

That being the case, I find VTubingExplained as a channel really interesting. Due to the way in which the videos are structured and how the scripts are written, people get a great understanding of what transpired in any given situation. VE keeps things as concise as possible, informative, and for the most part free of his own opinions, which is rather surprising when covering such a negative topic.

So, I reached out for an interview, and VE agreed to do it, and even helped me with advice and stuff for this project!

You can watch the full interview here.

The video itself has been a huge learning experience for me. I’m not the best at editing or anything, so it took me a few months to get through it, perform some cuts here and there, add graphics, adjust audio, and whatnot.

Hence, any feedback on the first (of hopefully many) episodes would be greatly appreciated! Beyond that, if you’re interested in that kind of content, feel free to suggest any other people in the space that would be a good fit for this! I have done some posts in the past about various creators, so I may also publish a few showcase posts on here again if this works out.
